I’m going to show her just how good a bad boy can be…

Everything’s riding on my comeback, but suddenly, Hollywood is the last thing on my mind.

Gemma Clark was supposed to keep me out of trouble, but now I’m in way over my head. What we have is real — too real. It’s just a matter of time before it all comes crashing down.

I need to face my demons, but what happens when she discovers the truth?

Review:

Same lickable cover to get you interested in picking this one up and you are not disappointed.

The story starts right where it left off with Gemma sitting alone in a hotel room in Vegas wondering where Dylan has run off to – which seems to be his pattern, something bad happens so he runs.

So bad boy Dylan had a bit of a melt down and stormed off leaving Gemma to worry that he has gone off on a bender and that she won’t be able to get him back in time for the shoot the next day. Gemma even goes as far as calling the police thinking the worst but in he strolls like he doesn’t have a care in the world and calmly settles the situation until the cop leaves. If he thought he would get out of it that easily he is sorely mistaken as Gemma lets him have it. She seems to be the only one able to get through to him and can see right through the armour that he puts up around himself. She knows he is hiding something dark and if he would just let her in she knows she can help.

Dylan knows he needs to get his act together so lets Gemma take the reins of his life for a while to get the ball rolling with the movie. The more time he spends with her the less he feels like he has a babysitter watching him all the time and more like he has a friend to pick him up and have fun with while working. There is so much more depth to the characters this time round that you feel more engaged with them and how they interact with each other.

The chemistry is still there bumbling between them but is building in to something more. Dylan being Dylan though still thinks about all the things he really wants to do to her (mostly when he is walking behind her and staring at her ass) but you can tell that it is now going deeper. I love how the tension between them slowly builds when he takes her on a shopping trip. Seeing her in a certain black silk dress that captures all the curves he loves so much, it’s all he can do not to put his hands on her and take her then and there in the changing room. This trip then leads to a proper date, while she is wearing said dress, which then leads to one hell of a night of passion back at her place. Dylan definitely shows his dominant side and Gemma loves every second of it. Only problem is what they have to face the next day.

Dylan’s past comes back to haunt him and his inner demons are coming back to the surface. It seems like he will fall back into his old ways and run from the trouble in front of him. If anyone can bring him back and get him to face his demons and stop running its Gemma, she just has to find him first.

I liked the second part more than the first as I felt the characters were better developed this time round. I think that the story might have been better as a single novel instead of two shorts but that’s just me. So with both being out now I would recommend getting them together so you can read in one go. That way you also get much more HOT fun between Dylan and Gemma in one fell swoop, so enjoy.

 Excerpt

I’ve never been one for thinking things through, and I’m still not. I’ll never be anything other than an animal of instinct, but this time my instincts are a slow burn, rather than a hot wave. I know how to sweep a girl off her feet, make the grand gesture minutes after meeting her, batter her defenses and ravage her like a whirlwind, but something inside of me is telling me to take it slow with Gemma.

I’m not even sure what it is that’s drawn me to her so relentlessly. It was easy just a few short weeks ago. All I could think about was her round ass, the way her tits bounced and moved, how her neck tasted like the finest delicacy. I still think about those things – how could I forget how hot she is? But it’s different now.

The things she’s said to me are what I think about the most. And it’s the captivating way she reacts to me that makes me want more of her. The fact that despite being an absolute fucking mess for half the time I’ve known her, she’s retained a dignity and strength that’s made me admire her.

I slide the bike into a private parking lot, the booth officer nodding me through – I’m easily recognizable; there aren’t many high-profile stars who ride motorcycles with hot chicks on the back. I step off the bike and look at Gemma. There’s a soft breeze blowing her skirt against her legs, giving me little fleeting reminders of how sensational her body is.
