Synopsis:

Nobody likes shoveling snow, especially doing it alone. So when Kiera’s neighbor, Hanna, offers to help, she isn’t going to stop her. It isn’t easy living next to someone like Hanna, younger and quite attractive. But somehow they both find themselves in Kiera’s kitchen while also finding ways to warm each other up.

Review:

Well Kiera and Hanna certainly find a fun way to warm up after shovelling all that snow!

To begin with Kiera doesn’t come across as if she likes her neighbour that much; mainly because she always seems to be bubbly all the time, where as she isn’t. Even when Hanna comes out to help her with shovelling the snow it seems like she isn’t that bothered right away with getting help. It’s only after being outside for a while that she seems to realize how easy it is to talk to her, seemingly to find a connection she didn’t know was missing until right then.

You can tell that Hanna has been waiting for the right moment to make a move on Kiera for a while now. Kiera does seem a little taken aback to begin with but it passes very quickly. The back-story mentions Kiera’s husband leaving her, which she is very glad of, so you would assume she’s straight right up until she kisses Hanna back with as much passion as they both can handle. Once she has Hanna within her grasp she has no intention of letting her go before she has her taste. She is definitely the one who is taking control of what is happening between them, demanding she get up on the table so she can taste her. This gives the impression that it is no longer Hanna doing the seducing but Kiera all the way. Could she have been fantasizing about her neighbour too perhaps? Because it seems that Hanna has been thinking about her in that way for a while from the subtle glances she gives her before they get into Kiera’s house. It’s like she knows what is going to happen between them and can’t wait for it to begin.

From the way things end you can tell that the next few snowy days aren’t going to be that much of an issue for them as they will find new and interesting ways to entertain each other within the blanket nest Kiera has created. No more being cold and lonely when they have someone to keep each other warm.
