She belongs to me…
Just a glimpse and I know she was MINE.
She isn’t like any other omega I’ve met,
I hadn’t anticipated this need for her.
I should have stayed away…
Yet, I can’t leave without her.
There’s a twisted, yearning, full of fear and anger inside me. For her…
No one can stop me, from breaking her
From making her mine…
She belongs to me…
This is the 15,000-word prequel to the Knotted Omega Series.
This short prequel is more about setting the players in motion for the main story to begin.
Starts as it means to go on with one hell of a sex dream. Let’s see if Zeus can make it a reality by finding his dream Omega. Seems he’s not the only one dreaming of the other, Lucy is just as linked in her dreams with him. Connected even before they met.
Zeus is an Alpha with a purpose, to kill his bastard of a father. Once done he will then become the General of London. Not pleased with just one title though as he wants to unite Scotland with England. Just has to go through a few people to do it.
Lucy and her sister are in a bit of a bind. Seems to barter a truce they are the terms granted. They know they are Omegas but want to choose who they want, not to be sold off to the highest bidder their father can get for them. Stories of an Alpha in Scotland giving Omegas the choice to which Alpha they bed when the heat cycle strikes leads to a plan of escape.
Can these twos journeys get them to cross paths to what – or rather who – they really want? With tensions running high from all sides and dangers following it’s anyone’s guess to how their stories will play out.
Interesting introduction to the characters but feel it could have been a little longer to get inside their heads a bit more – though this will come with the rest of the series. This is more about setting the scene and putting the players into their places for the journey to continue. Who to trust will be key to getting people to where they need to go.
3.5 out of 5 stars
I received a copy of this book from the author for my honest review.
