*Contains adult themes. Only for adults 18+*

Review:

Quick kinky Christmas read. Well Brett certainly got a present he won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

Candy stripers eat your heart out. Lizzy and Misty are about to take it to another level. Fun times ahead it seems. Is it a onetime deal, or maybe more of a tradition in the making? This kind of links into a series so I think the author is going to assume you have read them so it wouldn’t seem so strange to go right into all the kinky stuff. I don’t think it takes too much away from it if you haven’t, like me, as from the description it’s only meant to be a bit of fun with what the women have planned for Brett.

Lizzy has always been a good girl but has let her naughty side come out since meeting Brett. They have been together for almost a year and will be spending their first Christmas together. She quickly glosses over that they have a kinky side in that they go to a swingers club – one where Brett specifically likes to watch her with others. Mainly with Misty but he never joins in claiming he simply likes to just watch. This time Lizzy has other ideas. She has come up with a plan, along with Misty happily obliging, to give Brett a present he won’t forget – a threesome. Misty is up for it and just the thought alone turns Lizzy on. Gets interesting when Brett catches her mid fantasy dream, turns into a very fun afternoon. She worries how he might react but she shouldn’t really as you know he’s not about to turn this offer down.

Kinky fun in pairs and trios mixing and matching throughout, fun for all it seems. Quick hot read to check out.

Book Review: ‘Doctor-Patient Confidentiality Volume Five’ by Eme Strife

Synopsis:

Two very different people.
One scandalous proposition.
Endless possibilities…

***

I breathe out deeply, shuddering on exhale.

I can’t believe I’m about to do this…

My hand visibly trembles as I try to grip the stupid felt pen, shaking as I bring its pointed tip to the immaculate paper to sign on the line.

From the corner of my eye, I catch Dr. Frost staring at me, his own eyes intent and unwavering, and he’s eerily silent. I can’t even begin to imagine what he’s thinking. I probably don’t even want to know.

I really just need to get this over with before I panic and change my mind again.

I hold my breath as my eyes flutter closed. I feel my hand move on its own accord, gripping the pen tightly.

All it takes is two seconds.

And then it’s done.

I reluctantly open my eyes again and look down at my signature; a mesh of cursive letters sitting on the long dotted line – physical proof that I, Ramona Georgette Gallo, have agreed to the unthinkable.

The deal is sealed.

And there’s no backing out.

Review:

What a way to end a book? Four was good but this one, well, sexual tension galore when you get Ramona and Dex in a room together. Anybody have a match to spark this fire because surely its time it burned?

Start as you mean to go on Dr Frost with your idea of business. His condition on keeping quiet about what she was up to at that party becoming quite clear. My theory that he could be looking for a new sub gets stronger with each book and now this contract deal where she would be his for a determined amount of time for a large sum of money is on the table things are about to get interesting. Ramona may have told him no but the countdown has only just begun. 30 days to decide if she is going to sign and be his. Her reaction to him is so strong whenever he is near that its clear she wants him already. In a way you have a feeling she already is, she just needs to say yes. She may want him but the fact that he is married plays a big part in her holding back, well that and selling herself that is. Though the more she goes over the contract and reads what he would want to do to her the more she gets turned on. To the point where she feels she wants to submit to him the more dominating he acts. He wants her and it seems willing to do whatever it takes to get her. Seeing her at the party and finding that she wanted to work for Rainbow escorts is just a means to an end with getting her and giving her what she desperately needs in the process, and not just money.

Not as much interaction between them with this one as it’s more to do with the countdown she faces and her inner monologues. (Really wish we could get into Dex’s head too, now that would be interesting.) The debts of her grandmother and her medical bills are only getting higher but when her grandmother gets ill things are starting to sway more to yes than no. Though is the need for money just an excuse to say yes? She also seems to be getting attention elsewhere from the school hottie Jamie and Trixie’s brother Drake. She can’t seem to figure out if they are playing a game or bet of some kind as can’t see why they would be interested. Or more to the point from the moment she met Dr Frost she no longer ‘sees’ other guys.

With how book one started you know the answer to whether she signs on the dotted line or not but its the getting there that’s fun. Hold on to your hats because I think we are soon about to see Dr Frost’s true dominating side in the bedroom. Well fingers crossed anyway because I’m not sure how much longer I can wait. Mr. dark, domineering, mysterious, sexy man that he is needs to come out and play. She’s about to submit to your will so lets see where you take it from here.

Amshazar is an attractive and powerful man who is rumored to be a sorcerer, and he is allied to her enemy. Consorting with him would be disastrous. Why then does she let him arouse her and distract her from her goal?

Amshazar is a gifted magi and an envoy of the gods. Lusting after the Empress Elishiba wasn’t part of his plan, and yet he cannot resist. Their connection is vital, their desire undeniable—but their forbidden affair soon captures them in a web of danger, a web where magic and romance weave their own vibrant and inexorable threads. As the enemy seeks to destroy Elishiba and all she stands for, Amshazar must fulfill his duty and empower her as a powerful Sorceress, whatever the cost.

Review:

Intriguing read right from the start with many twists and turns to keep you hooked until the end. Seems Aleem and Karseedia are two very different lands run in two very different ways. One run for the love of its people where an Empress would do whatever it takes to keep peace and the other by fear. The Aleemite way of life focuses on all things pleasure, you should know all about it, no matter your status. Karseedia, however, is a treacherous country ruled by an evil hand hiding not so far in the background. I know which one I would rather be in.

Empress Elishiba of Aleem vows to protect her people no matter what but she is about to be pushed to her limits when she embarks on a mission with a neighboring enemy land. If a deal for a treaty fails then it seems the only way to ensure peace is to link them by marriage, hers to Emperor Hanrah of Karseedia. She knows her goal and can’t afford to be distracted from her path but the moment she meets the mysterious Amshazar that idea gets thrown right out the window. He is rumored to be a sorcerer and allied to her enemy but that doesn’t stop her lust from igniting the moment they meet. The pull it seems can’t be ignored but following it could lead them both down a disastrous path. Dark forces are at every turn to do evils bidding so she has to careful of whom to trust. New friends could be foe but to trust in herself is key. Her heart will always lead her down the correct path, even if it’s breaking at the same time.

Amshazar is a magi who is called upon by the Gods – specifically Credan and Sevita – to deliver a message to the exotic lands to help prevent a war. He needs to help one and guide another to get the peace the Gods are after. Something Hurda the God of war isn’t too keen on after his meddling got them to that stage in the first place. He first befriends Hanrah and soon is a trusted part of his life, so much so that he is sent as a spokesman with the group that goes to collect and escort Elishiba back to Karseedia. She is the one he must guide for the sake of all buts it hard to do after passions collide from the moment their eyes lock. Its like something sparks to life inside her. Her own magic seems to sense his and its with his presence and guidance that she can pull it to the surface when needed most. The moment they kiss all else fades away and it’s just them in a bubble of passion. She longs for him and he craves for her. He has a job to do, one she is a part of, but he can’t tell her it all yet for fear of scaring her. Falling for her and her passionate ways wasn’t part of his plan but fate it seems has other ideas.

Poor old Hanrah, he is very much under his mother Mehtap’s rule. He must strive to over throw her to become the man he is meant to be. His loyalty seems to be to his lover Kazeen but he needs to think of all his people before his mother ruins their land for good with war. Sibias is a creepy guy who you get a bad feeling about right from the start. He is Mehtap’s puppet, one that likes to delve into the dark magic to do her bidding it seems. All you are hoping is that they get their comeuppance.

Elishiba is not alone on her journey, she may have Amshazar for now but also brings her closest friends and consorts which gives the story more depth. Xerxes is her loyal warrior and leader of the Immortals, friend and past lover, well who wouldn’t want someone like that watching your back. Her handmaids, twins Elra and Amra brought a bit of humour, loved their scenes. Yoshi her Seeress loves to speak in riddles and her ‘gift’ from Mehtap turned loyal friend Kerr was sweet – someone the twins very much hope to share. Love the way they try to entice him to their side. Believe me it doesn’t take much for him to be in ore of them and the way of life in Aleem. A much better place to be than Karseedia it seems. A power play coming from all sides has started and it soon becomes a road trip built on a dark web of mystery. A fun paranormal fantasy erotic historical read to get stuck into.

Book Review: ‘Jagged Ends’ by Taylor Dawn

Title: Jagged Ends (Magnolia Series Book 4)

Published: 26th February 2017

Publisher: Princess Press

Author: Taylor Dawn

Twitter: @TAYLORDAWNBOOKS

Synopsis:

Agent Ryan Madden always had a tough time fitting in at the Washington D.C. FBI field office. As the daughter of a fallen agent, Ryan had the determination to make her father proud and uphold his legacy. Unfortunately her anger management issues and jagged demeanor caused more problems than she’d expected. Hoping to teach her a lesson, Ryan’s superiors sent her and her tacky pant suits to the Biloxi, Mississippi field office for a change of scenery. FBI agent Remington (Remy) Archer was anxious to meet his new partner…that was until she walked into his office. He’d been expecting a man, not a sexy female with bright hazel eyes and a trendy bobbed haircut. His instant attraction to Ryan was alarming but he was resolute in his decision to make things work. That was, until they were assigned their first case together. How was he supposed to go undercover at a BDSM club with a strong willed woman who refused to submit to anyone? Get covert with Ryan and Remy as they brave the danger of the human trafficking and drug trade in the fourth installment of Taylor Dawn’s best-selling Magnolia Series.

Review:

First day on the job got very interesting very fast for Ryan and its full steam ahead from that point onwards. Talk about zero to fifty in the passion-o-metre when Ryan walks in to her new office, shocking Remy in the process with the fact his new partner is female. With the reaction his body is giving her that shock quickly wears off to something else entirely. Sexual tension aside – neither can really explain their reaction to the other – it seems like things are going to take a turn for the naughty with a case that’s dropped into their office. One only a couple can do, as they need to start investigating a possible drug ring at a BDSM sex club run by Alastair Bordeaux.

To be members it seems you have to go through a bit of an induction and then give a showcase performance. But I’m getting ahead of myself, as these guys have no idea about anything that might go on in one of those clubs. A bit of one on one lessons are needed and Dash just happens to be the teacher. Talk about insecurities for Ryan though. After having to strip to her underwear and then make out with Remy – again – she can’t understand why he would want/need to leave the room so quickly saying he can’t do it. Her first thought is that she’s so repulsive he couldn’t even pretend with her. But as Dash so helpfully points out Remy wouldn’t have had such a hard on if that was the case.

To get on with the case they need to work round what the attraction really is with them. His reasoning that things at the club could get physical for real with others around so they might think about getting rid of the mystery beforehand so they can focus on the case. Focus umm yeah-right Remy. The moment they are near each other its like everything else switches off. Well until someone says the wrong thing and then fireworks soon start. Seems Remy has had a painful past that he still is trying to come to terms with. Ryan as well on a professional/personal level with what she had to do to someone she loved. Secrets from their pasts haunt them but to move forward they have to come to terms with them.

Tensions and passions run high and that’s before the case officially starts, as soon as it does things get a little crazy. Seems being at the club she may not be pretending as much as Remy and that scares her a little. She doesn’t need to let feelings get in the way of the case and she has to ask herself what she is really prepared to do to get the bad guy. As the case unfolds though who the real bad guy is may come into question. Bad vibes coming from certain people but its not till the end that all the cards start falling into place. A drug ring might soon become the least of their problems. Danger is coming and you may not know from what side. Love the ending though, you clearly know who is the better one at surveillance is.

Cameo performances throughout with the men this time. Luke and Cole do make an interesting duo love their banter. Kat the hacker informant from book two making an appearance was interesting. She may be a good hacker but not as good as Caden. With the clubs security system the team need the best and that just happens to be Ryan’s brother Caden. Let’s see how helpful he is going to be. Thought he was cool though and loved how he came through for his sister in the end, family through and through. Had a feeling Kat’s might be the next story and love that it’s with Liam. Should be a very interesting ride.

Book Review: ‘Tough Love’ by Ava Sterling

Title: Tough Love: A Spanking Story

Published: 10th June 2017

Publisher: Red Lace Publishing

Author: Ava Sterling

Twitter: @ava_sterling

Synopsis:

Lingerie is Kate’s ultimate weakness. That, and spanking.

The spanking kink between Kate and Colin started years ago, and it’s only heated up since then. But with Colin away at a conference, Kate falls back into her old ways of overspending on lingerie. The lingerie is mostly a gift for him, after all.

The only problem is the budget and the credit card interest. As soon as Colin gets home, he’ll likely be upset, and what better way to dole out his punishment than bending his fiancée over his knee?

(This explicit, 4,000 word story is intended for adult readers only)

Review:

Another fun short read to get stuck into. Flowed nicely from the start and had a good pace throughout. Interesting dynamics with both Kate and Colin with how they reacted to each other. Giving the other what they needed, when they needed it. Might be a punishment for being bad but it soon turns into pleasure for both of them.

Kate has found a way to get the desired reaction from her fiancé if she does something that is a bit bad. Buying a lot of expensive lingerie without permission will do that, but she can’t seem to deny herself them. She loves the thrill of getting something new but I think its more that she likes the thrill of knowing she will be in trouble for it. Though she does think at the time that she has more time before having to face Colin. Seems his business trip got cut short and she is going to face the music sooner than she thought.

I liked that neither could seem to keep a secret from the other. It is the bases of their relationship to be completely honest with each other, no matter the consequences for Kate. She longs to please him in every way but can’t help reacting in certain ways to get the release she longs for – even if she has to be a little bad to get it. It’s about giving up control to the one person who loves her most. Control is something he has in spades as he can get her blood pressure to rise with merely a few words and a look. His too as you can clearly see he is just as excited to play their games as she is. She may get some tough love with her punishment but he sure finds a fun way to reward her afterwards for taking it so well. Something they both enjoyed and will continue to do so from now on. She likes the rewards she gets from being a good girl but you just know it won’t be long before she is a bad girl again.
